Lake Wallenpaupack Estates, not to be confused with Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, is below the southern points of the big lake and is actually a community with frontage on Lake Wallenpaupack River. Homes are serviced by central water system but each property has it's own septic system. The community maintains a clubhouse, indoor pool, tennis courts and a few dozen boat slips. The shallow river beds make for wonderful kayaking, fishing, or just plain listening to the therapeutic sounds of white water.
